Kantou Gakuin v HMS Unicorn 1950

HMS Unicorn was a Royal Navy aircraft repair ship and light aircraft carrier which saw service in the Far East including Japan in the early 1950s in support of the carrier HMS Triumph. In 1950 a team made up from the crew of HMS Unicorn played football matches against Japanese University football teams from Kansei Gakuin located in West Japan and Kantou Gakuin located in the East of Japan near Tokyo.
