The third tour of Japan by Middlesex Wanderers took place in June and July 1971, in part to celebrate the Jubilee of the Japan Football Association. The Wanderers played seven games in total against Japan, winning four, drawing one and losing two.

The pin medal I have in my collection for this game is really rare and interesting and I suspect might possibly have been given to one of the players or officials?
