In 1975 European Champions Bayern Munich (including great players such as Franz Beckenbauer, Uli Hoeness, Sepp Maier, Gerhard Muller and a young Karl Heinz Rummenigge in their team) played two matches against the Japan National Team in Tokyo. Bayern won the first game on 5 January 1-0 and comfortably won the second match 4-1.
The official programme, which covers both games and tickets for each of the two games are shown below. The programme has 30 pages (half of which are adverts) and is all in Japanese. The programme begins with an introduction from the Japanese Football Association followed by three pages on Germany and Bayern Munich. Two pages list the Bayern squad together with small photos of the players and officials. There is a page with colour photos from the 1974 World Cup Final between West Germany and the Netherlands. Details of the Japan National Team Squad are given on two pages along with small photos of their players. There are two pages giving Bayerns past scores in Cup matches - both European and Domestic. Finally there are two pages where the scores and line-ups etc. can be entered.
