Japan v Manchester City - 1976

Manchester City played four games against the Japan National Team in May 1976 during their end of season Far East tour. Goals from Dennis Tueart, Asa Hartford and Dennis Leman secured a 3-0 win for City in the opening game on 21st May. A single goal from Paul Power in each of the next two games were sufficient to secure narrow 1-0 victories. Goals from Denis Tueart and Dennis Leman gave City a more comfortable victory in the final game on 28 May in front of 27,000 spectators, the biggest crowd of the tour so far.
