1978 - Rugby - Japan v France

France played four games in Japan on their 1978 tour of the Far East and Canada. No 'caps' were awarded to the French players who took part in the matches.

France defeated a Japan XV 61-10 in the first match in Tokyo on 14 September. In the second match in Osaka on 17 September France defeated Western Japan 98-10. The third game in Fukuoka saw France beat Kyushu 37-3.  France completed a clean sweep of victories with a 55-16 victory in Tokyo on 23 September.
