Nottingham Forest v Nacional
The National Stadium in Tokyo hosted the first Toyota Cup Final on 11 February 1981, played between Nacional of Uruguay, winners of the 1980 Copa Libertadores, and Nottingham Forest of England, winners of the 1979–80 European Cup.
In the match, played in front of 62,000 fans, a single goal scored by man of the match Waldemar Victorino was sufficient to secure a 1-0 victory for the South American champions.
