Kawasaki Frontale & Vissel Kobe v Bolton - 2005

Bolton Wanderers, together with their Japanese star Hidetoshi Nakata played two matches in Japan on their 2005 Tour.

In the first game on 26 July in Kobe, a Kunie Kitamoto header after 50 minutes put Vissel Kobe in front, before Senegalese striker El-Hadji Diouf equalised to earn Bolton a 1-1 draw.

In the second game on 28 July, a goal from Bolton Wanderer's midfielder James Sinclair with just 4 minutes to go cancelled out an earlier strike from Kawasaki Frontale's Masaru Kurotsu to secure Bolton another 1-1 draw.
