A late goal from Shinji Ono was enough to give Urawa Reds a 2-2 draw against Manchester United in this pre-season friendly played in the Komaba Stadium, Saitama on 17 July 2007. Urawa had led 1-0 at Half Time with a 20-yard swerving shot from Uchidate that deceived Edwin Van Der Sar, before two goals in a frantic 5-minute spell straight after half time from Darren Fletcher and Cristiano Ronaldo turned the game on its head.
