The 2011 Kirin Cup featured Japan, Peru and the Czech Republic. In the opening game in Niigata on 1 June 2011 Japan and Peru drew 0-0 in front of over 39,000 supporters. In the second game in Nagano on 4 June  the Czech Republic and Peru drew 0-0 in front of 7,500 supporters. In the final game in Yokohama on 7 June Japan and the Czech Republic drew 0-0 in front of over 65,000 supporters, which meant that Japan, Peru and the Czech Republic all shared the 2011 Kirin Cup.

The official 2011 Kirin Cup programme shown below has 68 x glossy colour A4 pages and apart from some introductions in English, is all in Japanese. It is unusual that the programme runs from back to front. The programme includes the list of fixtures. It then has extensive articles on Japans Head Coach Alberto Zaccheroni and Japan's National Team together with large photos of all of their players. There are details of the Peru and Czech Republic National teams and photos of some of their players. There are extensive details of previous Kirin Cup Soccer Tournaments. Next there are details of the Japan and Australia U-22 National Team Squads who were playing each other ahead of the opening Kirin Cup game involving Japan in Niigata - this includes a feature on the Japan U-22 coach Takashi Sekizuka and photos of the Japan U-22 players. Finally there is a feature on English referees Howard Webb and Martin Atkinson who were refereeing the games.
