2013 Cerezo Osaka v Manchester United

Cerezo Osaka v Manchester United - 2013

Shinji Kagawa scored and missed a penalty against his former club as Manchester United drew with Cerezo Osaka to share the Yanmar Premium Cup. Kenyu Sugimoto took advantage of a defensive mistake to put the home side ahead but, moments after his second-half spot-kick was saved, Kagawa slotted home from close range to equalise for United. Takumi Minamino’s superb long-range drive put Cerezo back ahead in front of 45,000 fans at the Nagai Stadium, but Wilfried Zaha scored his first goal for United at the death to ensure the game ended all square.
