2019 Rugby World Cup

Japan hosted the 2019 Rugby World Cup from 20 September to 2 November 2019. Games were played at twelve locations around Japan, namely Yokohama, Fukuroi, Chofu, Toyota, Sapporo, Oita, Kobe, Higashisaka, Kumamoto, Kumagaya, Fukuoka and Kamaishi.

Twenty teams took part, South Africa, Namibia, United States, Canada, Japan, England, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Russia, Scotland, Wales, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Samoa, Tonga, Argentina and Uruguay. Although 48 games were due to be played, three games had to be cancelled due to Typhoon Hagibis.

South Africa defeated England 32-12 in the final in Yokohama to seal South Africa's third Rugby World Cup title.

I have a full boxed set of the 45 x individual match programmes produced for the matches. No programmes were issued for the three cancelled games.

I also have a full set of the 48 x match tickets, which includes tickets for the three cancelled games - there were three styles of tickets issued as shown below. The hardest ticket I had to find was probably for the Fiji v Uruguay game in Kamaishi. I also have an official Hospitality Pass and ticket for the Final.
